Description:

We are looking for a skilled Website Content Creator and Updater to enhance and manage our online presence. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling, SEO-optimized content for various sections of our websites, as well as updating and maintaining existing content to ensure accuracy and relevance. You will collaborate with our design and development teams to ensure content aligns with website aesthetics and functionality. Familiarity with content creation AI tools is a plus, as these tools may be utilized to streamline and enhance content production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content writing, editing, and website management, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality, engaging content. Your ability to adapt content strategies based on performance metrics and feedback will be crucial in driving website success and user engagement.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Website Content Creation
    • Develop and create website content, including articles, landing pages, and other digital assets that reflect brand messaging and goals.
    • Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure content is aligned with visual and strategic objectives.
    • Ensure consistency in style, tone, and branding across all website content.
  • Website Content Updation
    • Regularly update and refresh existing website content to ensure it remains current and relevant.
    • Optimize content for SEO to improve search engine rankings and visibility.
    • Review and revise content for accuracy, grammar, and overall quality.
  • SEO and Keyword Optimization
    • Conduct keyword research and incorporate relevant keywords into website content.
    • Optimize meta descriptions, titles, and tags to improve search performance.
  • Content Auditing and Strategy
    • Perform regular content audits to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a content strategy aligned with business objectives.
    • Implement feedback from internal teams and stakeholders to improve website content and performance.
  • Analytics and Reporting
    • Use analytics tools to monitor website performance and user engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background
    • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Relevant Experience
    • Proven experience in website content creation and management, preferably using WordPress or similar platforms.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing website content and projects.
    • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML/CSS for making content adjustments.
  • SEO and Digital Marketing Knowledge
    • Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to website content.
    • Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Ahrefs, or SEMrush for content performance tracking.
  • Content Writing Skills
    • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to adapt writing style to match different brands and target audiences.
  • Technical Skills
    • Experience with WordPress or other website platforms for content management and updates.
    • Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (a plus).

  • Full-time position: 50 – 60 hours per week.

Days Off Policy:

Benefits are entitled to a “Full Time” staff member. Sick leave cannot be carried over into the next year or paid at termination. Staff is required to provide a medical certificate if the leave exceeds 2 or 3 days. “Vacation Time Off” starts after 1 year of employment.

Position: Website Content Specialist

Salary: ₹ 15K Base + ₹ 5K [Performance-Based raise after 6 months of Full Time Staff]

Three Months Internship (Mandatory): 

  • This mandatory 3-month internship will be at 50% of the regular pay, with payment provided upon completion. During the internship, you’ll be responsible for key tasks while gaining hands-on experience. After the 3 months, if your performance is exceptional, sufficient time has been dedicated to your assigned project, and the team recognizes your contributions, you will be strongly considered for a full-time position in the same role.
