We are seeking a talented WordPress Frontend Designer with expertise in both content and design to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will craft visually stunning and user-friendly WordPress websites that not only meet but exceed client expectations. Your primary focus will be on designing engaging content layouts and implementing design elements that enhance the overall user experience. You will work closely with clients and team members to bring creative visions to life, ensuring that each website is both aesthetically pleasing and functionally effective. Role and Responsibilities:

As a WordPress Designer & Developer, you will play a pivotal role in creating visually appealing and high-performing front end of the websites for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

Website Development
- Design and develop new WordPress websites based on client specifications.
- Create and maintain website pages with new content as requested by clients.
- Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to build responsive and visually appealing websites.
Content Management
- Create and edit website content using the WordPress Content Management System (CMS).
- Ensure content accuracy, alignment with design, and timely updates.
Theme Design Customization
- Customize WordPress themes to meet design requirements and branding guidelines.
- Implement and adjust themes for a consistent and cohesive visual appearance.
Collaboration and Client Communication
- Collaborate with designers and content creators for seamless design and content integration.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide effective technical solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to clients and provide updates on project progress.
SEO and Performance Optimization
- Implement basic on-page SEO strategies, including meta tags and keyword optimization.
- Optimize website performance through image compression, code minification, and caching.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and responsive across various devices and screen sizes.
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure functionality, compatibility, and performance.

Qualifications:

WordPress Development Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of experience in both frontend and backend WordPress development, including core functionalities, theme development, and page enhancements.
Proficiency with Page Builders: Strong experience with popular front-end web builders such as Elementor, Fusion Builder, and similar tools.
Collaborative Skills: Ability to work effectively with designers, content creators, clients, and other team members.
Project Management: Basic skills in managing projects, meeting deadlines, and handling tasks efficiently.
Time Management: Efficient at managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of WordPress architecture, HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
SEO Implementation: Proficient in applying SEO best practices to optimize WordPress websites for performance and visibility.
Problem-Solving and Attention to Detail: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work quickly, adapt to changes, and balance perfectionism with client value.
Cross-Disciplinary Awareness: Understanding of complementary areas such as marketing strategy, user experience, accessibility, and content strategy.

Bonus Qualifications & Skills:

Develop custom themes and plugins to extend the functionality of WordPress.
eCommerce Integration: Knowledge of integrating and customizing eCommerce solutions with WordPress, such as WooCommerce.
Experience with Google Analytics and Tag Manager.
Automation Tools: Knowledge of automation tools and scripts for streamlining development and deployment processes.
Multilingual Website Development: Experience in creating and managing multilingual websites using WordPress.
API Integration: Experience integrating third-party APIs and web services into WordPress.

Full-time position: 50 – 60 hours per week.

Days Off Policy:

Benefits are entitled to a “Full Time” staff member. Sick leave cannot be carried over into the next year or paid at termination. Staff is required to provide a medical certificate if the leave exceeds 2 or 3 days. “Vacation Time Off” starts after 1 year of employment.

Position: WordPress Designer & Developer

Salary: ₹ 25K Base + ₹ 5K [Performance Based Raise after 3 months]

Three Months Internship (Mandatory):

This mandatory 3-month internship will be at 50% of the regular pay, with payment provided upon completion. During the internship, you’ll be responsible for key tasks while gaining hands-on experience. After the 3 months, if your performance is exceptional, sufficient time has been dedicated to your assigned project, and the team recognizes your contributions, you will be strongly considered for a full-time position in the same role.
